The Region 4A Div. 1 basketball tournament gets underway Saturday at Temple High School in Temple. The region consists of only four teams so all four will go to the state tournament. The tournament decides all important seeding.
The Lady Trojans face Crawford County in the first round at 5:30 p.m. Barring catastrophe, LC will win that battle and face the Temple-Heard County winner at 6 p.m. on Valentines Day. The Lady Trojans beat Temple 69-58 Feb. 7.
The Trojans will face Heard County at 4 p.m. Saturday. A win would propel them into the final against the Crawford County-Temple winner Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. LC was blasted by Temple 86-43 Feb. 7.
