The ninth anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks was observed Friday with a Woodmen of the World patriotic tribute to the victims and a dedication of a flag pole at the Fine Arts Center to the late Britton Cauthen. Cauthen, a local hero and firefighter, died May 4 after a valiant battle against pancreatic cancer. His funeral was the first held at the new Fine Arts Center.
