Rep. Tony Sellier has died

Tony Sellier, R-Fort Valley, died unexpectedly around 11 p.m. Tuesday at Peach Regional Medical Center, Peach County Coroner Kerry Rooks said Wednesday morning.Crawford County Coroner Allen O’Neal, who is handling the case, said that through an error at the hospital he was not notified of the death until Wednesday morning, but preliminary indications are that Sellier died of complications related to throat cancer.Rooks said Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley will be handling the funeral arrangements, which should be known later this afternoon.
