Due to an oversight between departments the following retraction was not printed in this weeks newspaper. Our apologies to the McCook family. Andrew McCook was listed as being charged with Possession of Cocaine in the April 14, 2009 edition of Herald-Gazette. McCook was actually charged with VGCSA Possession of a Schedule 4 Narcotic. This retraction was submitted by the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office.
