He served as pastor at the little country church from 1986 until 1997, which he loved. The little church is still thriving today.
His interests included classic cars, antiques, heirloom tomatoes and he collected and restored antique radios.
Mr. DeBari was preceded in death by his beloved mother and daughter, Mildred Wallace Vaughn of Forsyth, Ga. and Vicki Denise Jackson of Barnesville, Ga. respectively.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Butler DeBari of Barnesville, Ga.; brother Gerald Dean (Reba) DeBari of Pensacola, Fla.; son Gerald (Carren) DeBari of Barnesville, Ga.; daughter Susan (Joey) Proctor of Forsyth, Ga.; grandchildren Tiffany DeBari (Chris Sears) of Barnesville, Ga., Amanda (Eric) Benton of Forsyth, Ga. and Corry DeBari of Barnesville, Ga.; great-grandchildren Emily Morgan Saint and Alice Satira Nadeau of Forsyth, Ga. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He never met a stranger. He showed his love through actions and lived what he preached. He will be sorely missed.
