Reward offered for alleged killer’s arrest

Griffin Police investigators are asking the public for assistance in the apprehension of Javarious Leondre Verdell in connection with Saturday’s murder of Ivan Matthew Sierra. UPDATE: Verdell was taken into custody at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday in Clayton County after a tip. Murder warrants have been issued for Verdell and he should be considered armed and dangerous.
