A nice contingent of riders gathered at Ingles in Barnesville Saturday morning for the Ride for Savannah to benefit Savannah Talley. Savannah has been in Egleston in Atlanta in a medically-induced coma since falling ill at Lamar County Primary School March 31. She has suffered hundreds of seizures. After much consultation, doctors began administering an experimental drug Saturday that was flown in from England. The riders had raised in excess of $1500 for Savannah before leaving Barnesville.
