As water work on Thomaston Street begins to wind down, Barnesville has released its planned road closings this week. ’The next step is the connection of the water mains parallel to the ancillary streets to the new main along Thomaston Street,’ said public works director Jason Shirey. ‘This is going to require the closing of Thomaston Street at four intersections. The ancillary street may or may not provide access to Thomaston Street during these closings.’ Closings are: Tuesday, Nov. 15, Houston Street; Wednesday, Nov. 16, Stafford Avenue; Thursday, Nov. 17th, Georgia Avenue; and Friday, Nov. 18, Spencer Street.
