Robert “Bob” Ray Becker

Mr. Robert “Bob” Ray Becker, age 91, of Milner, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at his home.
Bob was born on Wednesday, July 13, 1931, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late John J. Becker and Margie Berry Becker. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Margie Culpepper, Ann Golden, Frances Phillips, and Florence Cosby, brothers; J.T. Becker, and Harvey Becker. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Milner Baptist Church. Bob was also a member of Masonic Lodge #88. Bob loved his family more than anything. He was a very kind man who enjoyed all things outside from gardening to hunting and fishing. Bob and Iris enjoyed traveling together and visited all 50 states and Canada.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Iris Becker, children and their spouses; Robin Becker & Dewayne Holder, Sharon Becker Gable & Fiancé Terry Smith, William Robert & Michele Becker, grandchildren and their spouses; Stuart & Nina Holder, Melissa & Matthew Chizek, Paige Marie Gable, and Katie & Matt Carhart, Brandon & Bailey Smith; as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Becker will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Milner Baptist Church with Pastor Brad Ellington officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
