Rose Coggins

Rose Margaret (Linder) Coggins, 75, ascended to her heavenly home on Jan. 15, 2016. She was born in Jersey City, NJ to parents Emil and Margaret Linder. After her father’s death, she was raised by her parents George and Margaret Click. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 43 years, Rev. Joseph Travis Coggins. Raised in upstate New York, she had lived in Georgia for more than 40 years and in Barnesville for the last 21 years. She was a member of New Beginnings Pentecostal Church in Forsyth. She had a deep love and devotion to her family and pets. She enjoyed reading, cooking, yard sales and traveling. She is survived by three sons; Duane (Joyce) Coggins, Joseph Coggins and Michael (Ana) Coggins; nine grandchildren, Stephen (Tanya) Coggins, Christy Coggins, Julie (Justin) Lough, Amanda Coggins, Melanie Coggins, Brandi Coggins, Michael Coggins Jr., Gabriel Coggins and Christopher Coggins; seven great grandchildren, Christian, Tyler, Ethan, Alexis and Carmen Esquivel and Jordyn and Josiah Coggins; brother, George Click; numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews; and a special cousin Martha Miller. A memorial service was held at Heritage Funeral Home on Jan. 19 with Chaplain Suzanne Wages officiating.
