Rotary Hall of Honor

The Barnesville Rotary Club inducted the first members of its Hall of Honor during ceremonies held at Gordon College June 26. Two of the three inductees were the late Dr. John Corry and Dr. Holland Jackson Jr. Dr. Corry founded the club in 1939. Dr. Jackson had 47 years of perfect attendance before taking emeritus status. Dr. Jackson’s daughter, Elizabeth Jackson Graham, accepted for the family. Dr. Corry was the grandfather of Dr. Jackson’s late wife, Louise Corry Jackson, and great-grandfather of Graham.
