The Barnesville Rotary Club is seeking World War II veterans to take part in a free trip to the WWII veterans memorial in Washington, D.C. The one-day trip is set for April 14. All expenses are paid for veterans. For more information, contact Mark Stone at 770-358-6939. Local Rotarians are partnering with the Roswell Rotary Club in its Honor Air flight. The organizations charter an Airbus for the trip and medical personnel will be onboard. ’This is a great opportunity for us to honor the members of the greatest generation who live right here among us,’ Rotary president Dan Rainey said.
