Rudy B. Knight, for years a fixture at the Lamar County Jail where he worked as a jailer and dispatcher, died early New Years Day at his home. He was commander of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was also a Master Mason and past master of Pinta Lodge #88 F&AM here. Williams Funeral Home will handle the funeral. Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday January 3. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 4 at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home
