The proposed annexation and subsequent rezoning of part of Randolph ‘˜Rudy’ Vaughn’s property into Milner will include restrictions on its use.The first reading on the change was held at the March 18 meeting of the Milner council. It affects about two acres of Vaughn’s property at 342 Old Alabama Rd. released from a Conservation Use Valuation Act contract by the board of assessors a week earlier. It was determined the property should never have been in CUVA and the error was one the office made several years ago.Vaughn plans to convert an equipment barn on his land for use in a planned catering venture.
