School bus hits pole, kills power, sparks brush fire

A Lamar County school bus hit a power pole near the bus barn on Roberta Drive Friday afternoon, knocking out power over a wide area. The fallen power line sparked a brush fire near the Wetlands Trail.

The school bus was empty and no injuries were reported.
