A local woman was killed Saturday in a traffic accident on Johnstonville Road here. Now, her husband has also died of injuries sustained in the two-vehicle crash. The dead woman was identified as Pearl Kemp of an address on Hwy. 18 West. The accident occurred about 4:15 p.m. Her husband, John, was seriously injured and lifeflighted from the scene near Crawford Rd. He later died of his injuries.
