A 52-year-old Lamar County man has died from injuries received in a collision involving a Polaris and a deer Sept. 23 that previously claimed one life.
Ralph Shane McElreath died Oct. 3. A death certificate was filed for him in probate court last week.
McElreath was a passenger in a Polaris driven by Kennth Wayne Goins, 44, when it struck a deer on Old Milner Road at about 12:34 a.m. Both were flown to a Macon trauma center. Goins succumbed shortly after arrival at the hospital.
