Shane’s Barbecue Restaurant closed Aug. 6, the second shutdown of the troubled franchise. The shuttering apparently came at the request of the Shane’s franchise operation. Danny Turner of Turner Properties, owner of the Shane’s location on College Drive, said at this point the closing is temporary but there is no definite reopening date.
