Sheriff Report

Between Friday, Oct. 19, and Thursday, Oct. 25, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: David Blake Crews, no age or residence given, two counts theft by receiving stolen property; James Lee McGuire, 26, no residence given, driving without a license, DUI alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident; Deborah Pierce Merckling, 50, Williams, criminal trespass; William Trevor Ingram, 21, Thomaston, arrested for another agency; Oscar Charles Holmes, 42, Barnesville, two counts possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine and possession of a drug related object; Byron Bashan Hosley, 31, Athens, child support; Marice Shuler, 23, Atlanta, falsifying an identity document and first degree forgery; Gino Sammy Shuler, 25, Atlanta, following too closely, falsifying identity document, first degree forgery and other charges; Cadderion Montez Parson, no age or residence given, obstruction of an officer; Pamela Denise Coursey, 42, Barnesville, two counts first degree forgery and theft by taking; Dteric Terriel Shannon, 25, Barnesville, no charges listed; Timothy Lane Cofield, 29, Griffin, contempt of court; Randall Crys Hubbard, 32, Jenkinsburg, failure to register as a sex offender and providing false information; Aleander Adrian Lope, 21, McDonough, probation violation. Deputies answered 94 calls and the Lamar County 911 center answered 66. Deputies responded to 26 calls, the Barnesville police department to 21, Lamar County firefighters to 21, the Barnesville fire department to five and Mid Georgia Ambulance to 49. There were 10 accidents. Deputies served four warrants and issued nine traffic citations.
