Sheriff Report

Between Friday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 30, the Lamar County sheriff’s report made the following arrests: Meckeal Tywuae Penn, 23, Jonesboro, DUI less safe and failure to stop for stop sign; Vontae Tyris Collier, 18, Barnesville, leaving the scene of an accident and possession of alcohol under age 21; Darius Marquez Blanton, 19, Griffin, serving time; Gene Darrell Potts, 59, Jackson, serving time; Roderick Antwon Etheridge, 33, Griffin, serving time; Deidra Collette Pope, 41, Barnesville, DUI alcohol, open container, failure to use signal and other charges; Melanie Joy Coggins, 22, Barnesville, DUI alcohol, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and open container; Raymond Jerome Fagin, 33, Barnesville, deposit account fraud; Timothy Paul Cagle, 50, Griffin, bond revocation and other charges; Charles Steven Mann, 56, Barnesville, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana; Jennifer Delane Greene, 45, Barnesville, public drunkenness; Brent Pias, 30, High Falls, disorderly conduct; Cortez Andrecus Clay, 23, Decatur, probation violation; Robert John Adams, 39, Barnesville, family violence battery; Joshua David Anderson, 21, Barnesville, consumption, purchase, furnishing or sale of alcoholic beverage under age; Cindy Rachel Pruitt, 51, Barnesville, first degree forgery and theft by receiving stolen property; Jesse Donald Parks, 70, Thomaston, failure to appear; Billy Joe Long, 34, Barnesville, DUI alcohol and failure to maintain lane; Michael Eugene Clark, 45, Zebulon, fugitive from the uniform criminal extradition act; Terry Murphy, 48, Barnesville, aggravated stalking; Paul Ellerby Jr., 40, Barnesville, warrants pending, drugs not in original container and driving while license suspended or revoked; Cadarial Deonte Caslin, 20, Milner, probation violation. Deputies answered 118 calls and the 911 center answered 90. Deputies responded to 25 calls, the Barnesville police department to 22, Lamar County firefighters to 17, Barnesville fire department to two and Mid-Georgia Ambulance Service to 39. There were 13 accidents. Deputies served four warrants and issued 24 citations.
