Sheriff Report

Between Friday, May 3, and Thursday, May 9, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Tonya Elaine Detwiler, 29, Milner, public drunkenness; Jaqueline Ruth McComsey, 48, Griffin, DUI less safe and failure to maintain lane; Laura Ann Burton, 37, Butler, two counts deposit account fraud; Christopher James Fallon, 20, Sylacauga, Ala., serving time; Kevin Dewayne Rapes, 37, McDonough, serving time and warrants pending; Joshua Paul Crowe, 20, Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Jean Luc Giroux, 17, Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Brooke Nicole Buice, 26, Barnesville, cruelty to children; Carolee Nicole Gilstrap, 35, no residence given, two counts possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana, possession of a drug-related object, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission or attempt to commit a crime, drugs not in original container and Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act; Ashley Shawn Gilstrap, 35, Barnesville, two counts possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana, possession of a drug-related object, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission or attempt to commit a crime, drugs not in original container and Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act; Victoria Scott, 22, Barnesville, failure to appear; Corelle Demond Wilson, 20, Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Byran Pierre Williams, 29, Barnesville, warrants pending and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Deputies answered 117 calls and the 911 Center answered 78. Deputies responded to 19 calls, the Barnesville police department to 23, Lamar firefighters to 14, Barnesville fire department to three and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 36. There were 15 accidents. Deputies issued seven citations.
