Between Monday, Aug., 15, and Sunday, Aug. 21, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Jerome McFadden, 40, Brunswick, entering an auto;Charles Tracy Williams, 40, probation violation;Darren Bruce Brill, 33, Lizella, probation violation;Vantura Ortela Zacarias, 23, Griffin, following too closely and driving without a license;Benetez Rayun Parker, 30, Milner, cruelty to children and family violence simple battery;Cheveckio Wilson, 21, Stone Mountain, bench warrant;Patricia Mary Willett, 47, Knoxville, Tenn., Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act;Tina Louise Settles, 50, Knoxville, Tenn., Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act;Timothy Robert Jacobs, 21, Knoxville, Tenn., Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act and windshield violation;Harold Norman Cook, 65, Milner, aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts and cruelty to children;Charles Cecil Williams Jr., 32, Barnesville, simple battery and other charges.Guerry Elom Garrison, 19, Barnesville, consumption or purchase of alcohol under age;Levi Cullen Garrison, 21, Barnesville, furnishing or selling alcohol to an underage person;Jonathan Ogbefho, 25, Macon, failure to appear;Charles Gray Jarrell II, 31, Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and weaving over roadway;Tyree Lamar Virgin, 31, Barnesville, simple battery;Teresa Rena Johnston, 42, Milner, open container, driving while license suspended or revoked and DUI alcohol;Thomas W. Faulkner, 47, Milner, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana;James Devon McGahee, 19, Milner, consumption or purchase of alcohol under age;Brandon Lee Redding, 19, Barnesville, consumption or purchase of alcohol under age;Rebecca Dale Webb, 20, Barnesville, consumption or purchase of alcohol under age and public drunkenness;Dustin Franklin McGahee, 20, Jackson, leaving the scene of an accident, consumption or purchase of alcohol under age and public drunkenness;Roman Glenn Henley, 55, open container, obstruction of an officer and violation of limited driving permit.Deputies answered 167 calls and the 911 center answered 96. Deputies responded to 41 calls, the Barnesville police department to 25, Lamar County firefighters to 32, the Barnesville fire department to three and Mid-Georgia Ambulance Service to 35. There were 10 accidents. Deputies served 11 warrants and issued 26 traffic citations.
