Between Saturday, March 5, and Friday, March 11, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Carlos Sindell Alexander, 35, College Park, disorderly conduct and open container; Kenthron Mytrell Chaney, 29, Thomaston, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Rafeal Kentae Chambles, 28, Thomaston, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Shawn Lamar Brooks, 23, The Rock, no charges listed; Daniel Shane Bright, 41, Barnesville, bench warrant; Roderick Randell Foster, 21, Barnesville, probation violation; Willie James McDowell, 41, Barnesville, public drunkenness, probation violation and criminal trespass; Melissa Ann Lavinder, 19, Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and speeding; Justin Dewayne Dingler, 36, Griffin, abandonment of child and nonsupport; Pedro Gomez, 31, Atlanta, weaving over the roadway and driving without a license; Israel Tenahus Zacahua, 21, East Point, driving without a license; Charles Allen Hardin, 38, Milner, burglary, second degree criminal damage to property, theft by taking and driving while license suspended or revoked; Zachery Stan Sorrells, 29, Milner, burglary; Angela Carletta Thames, 36, Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Deadrick Darrell Evans, 21, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked and no license on person. Deputies answered 124 calls and the 911 center answered 85. Deputies responded to 33 calls, the Barnesville police department to 17 calls, Lamar County fire department to 23, Barnesville fire department to two and Mid Georgia ambulance service to 38. There were 13 accidents. Deputies issued 35 traffic citations and served 42 warrants, and 18 subpoenas/civil papers.
