Sheriff’s report

Between Saturday, March 12, and Friday, March 18, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Andrew Franklin Abbott, 25, Barnesville, DUI alcohol and open container; Carlton Donnell Lewis Jr., 31, Milner, disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer; Alan Cantu, 20, Forest Park, DUI alcohol; Tina Lynn New, 40, Thomaston, disorderly conduct; Clifford Tennant III, 32, Barnesville, two counts theft by taking; Kelly Lynn Dean, 42, Griffin, contempt of court; Anna Marie Gatlin, 21, Barnesville, theft by taking; Charly Morgan Odom, 19, Barnesville, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of marijuana and cruelty to children; Christopher Cory Lenning, 21, Bluffington, S.C., possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana, cruelty to children and possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine; April Daggs Merck, 27, Forest Park, probation violation; Shuron Ontai Dixon, 21, Hampton, simple battery; Phillip Blane Vigil, 21, Eatonton, possession, manufacture, sale and purchase of marijuana, possession, sale, purchase and manufacture of cocaine and cruelty to children; Kenneth Anderson Brown, 26, Barnesville, DUI alcohol Cenneca Zaron Dumas, 28, Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and windshield violation; Brian Keith Moxon, 34, Barnesville, probation violation; Stanley Tarrell Fountain, 35, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked; Robert Lee Myers, 35, Winder, arrested for another agency; Thelma Darlene Cawthon, 47, Jackson, open container, no license plate and DUI less safe; Richard Stephen Hosley, 37, Milner, simple battery. Deputies answered 132 calls and the 911 center answered 68. Deputies responded to 27 calls, the Barnesville police department to 12 calls, Lamar County fire department to 12, Barnesville fire department to two and Mid Georgia ambulance service responded to 27. There were 10 accidents. Deputies issued 19 traffic citations and served 28 warrants and nine subpoenas or civil papers.
