Sheriff’s report

Between Friday, May 29, and Thursday, June 4, the sheriff’s office made 15 arrests: Allen Dewayne Caslin, 27, Barnesville, driving with a suspended license; Scotty Lee Gibson, 37, Barnesville, affray and giving false name to police; Joaquin Ordaz, 32, Tucker, failure to appear in probate court; Michael Dean Smith, 46, Barnesville, affray; Terrance Achaz Wright, 27, Thomaston, DUI less safe, failure to stop for stop sign and no license on person; Robert William Watson, 58, Forsyth, driving with a suspended license and speeding; Herbert Keith Garner, 41, Griffin, failure to appear; Rashunda Lequin Henley, 28, Barnesville, DUI; Roberto Gonzalez Padron, 28, Morrow, theft by receiving stolen property; Sebastian Llewellyn Haygood, 38, Barnesville, child support default; Efrain Garcia Salazar, 27, Warner Robins, contempt of probate court; Karream Akbar Rantin, 34, Jonesboro, probation violation; Bradley Jackson Blackburn, 20, Albany, possession of marijuana and weaving over the roadway; Tiffany Ellis Priest, 24, Milner, reckless conduct; Timothy Lane Cofield, 26, Griffin, no headlights, driving with a suspended license, DUI less safe and prescription drugs out of original container. Deputies answered 119 calls, responded to 16 traffic accidents, served 12 warrants and 13 civil papers and/or subpoenas and issued 71 citations.  Lamar County E-911 received 93 emergency calls, dispatching deputies to 30, Barnesville police to 27, county fire and rescue to 32, Barnesville fire to four and EMS to 36.
