Sheriff’s Report

In the past week, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Kelvin Allen Carter, 35, Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and obstruction of an officer; Tony Smith, 51, Thomaston, serving time; John Thomas Wright, 24, Marietta, following too closely and driving while license suspended; Christopher William Salsgiver, 20, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked; Robert Joseph Boutwell, 45, Locust Grove, criminal trespass, terroristic threats and acts, aggravated assault and disorderly conduct; Lenard Idress Pass, 22, Atlanta, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Lorena Solis, 19, Griffin, driving without a license and weaving over roadway; Jeffry Alan Horan, 30, Milner, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; Anthony Hugh Hadwin, 44, Yatesville, probation violation; Brooke Elizabeth Daniel, 28, Austell, arrested for another agency; Andricus D. Rogers, 19, Williamson, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and no seat belt; Marcus Kevin Pitts, 34, no residence given, two counts possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of a knife by a convicted felon and possession of a knife or firearm during the commission of a crime or an attempt to commit a crime; Kalin Ana Foulke, 18, Loxahatchee, Fla., criminal attempt; Austin Steven Gilliland, 18, no residence given, criminal attempt, possession of a knife or firearm during the commission of a crime or attempt to commit a crime and possession of a drug-related object; Andrew Lamar Rosser, 29, Grantville, hold for parole; Krissia Maria Shavers, 20, Fairburn, family violence simple battery, cruelty to children and passenger interfering with a driver; Marcus Antonio Watkins, 22, Forsyth, probation violation. Deputies answered 108 calls and the 911 center answered 91. Deputies responded to 22 calls, the Barnesville police department responded to 31, Lamar County fire department to 23, Barnesville fire department to three and Mid Georgia ambulance to 43. There were 11 accidents. Deputies issued 36 traffic citations and served 16 warrants and 19 subpoenas or civil papers.
