Sheriff’s report

In the past week, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Tina Marie Underwood, 36, Barnesville, DUI less safe and failure to maintain lane; Stewart Wade Salter, 43, Thomaston, DUI less safe, weaving over roadway, open container and speeding; Johnathan Henderson, 36, Griffin, arrested for another agency; Alex J. Goodin, 43, Thomaston, deposit account fraud; Gary James Nichols, 27, Barnesville, speeding, driving while license suspended or revoked, DUI less safe, DUI endangering a child and open container; Quantavious Jamaul Smith, 21, Thomaston, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; Stephen Lee Dukes, 21, Thomaston, aggravated assault and aggravated battery; Michael Shannon Murph, 38, no residence given, arrested for another agency; Robbie E. Miller, 18, Bainbridge, in for court; Lucas Ray Bryan, 19, Barnesville, serving time; Kenthron Mytrell Chaney, 29, Thomaston, serving time; Calvin Saige Adams, 20, Barnesville, serving time; Bradley Mucher, 31, Forsyth, DUI alcohol, no insurance and open container; Kathy Denise Allen, 48, Thomaston, arrested for another agency; Carlos Alexander Ross, 31, Thomaston, probation violation. Deputies answered 142 calls and the 911 center answered 90. Deputies responded to 31 calls, the Barnesville police department to 27, Lamar County fire department to six, Barnesville fire department to 1 one and Mid Georgia ambulance service to 41. There were 14 accidents. Deputies issued 38 traffic citations and served 19 warrants and 24 subpoenas or civil papers.
