Between Monday, Aug. 22, and Sunday, Aug. 28, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Paul Coursey, 41, Flovilla, probation violation;Mickey Eugene Blackmon, 18, Meansville, probation violation;Shannon Earl Dean, 45, Milner, driving while license suspended or revoked;Victor Damon Smothers, 44, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked;Anthony Bernard Scott, 29, Thomaston, bench warrant;Brandon Derek Hand, 21, Barnesville, contributing to the delinquency of a minor;Austin Steven Gilliland, 18, no residence listed, consumption or purchase of alcohol while under age;Toran Antawan Gilliard, 29, Riverdale, arrested for another agency;Robert Charles Darnell, 36, Barnesville, child support;Tony Brown, 39, Milner, child support;Jacquelyn Fletcher, 31, Barnesville, warrants pending;Randy Demetrich Sullivan, 39, Barnesville, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana, drugs not in original container, theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm or knife during a crime or attempt to commit a crime, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of methamphetamine and possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine;Agustin Marc Hernandez-Martinez, 30, Thomaston, driving without a license;Darron Albert Lyons, 37, Barnesville, DUI alcohol and other charges;Maurice Elliott Chambers, 55, Forsyth, contempt of court;Gavin Nelson Brown, 26, Bogart, driving while license suspended or revoked and weaving over roadway;Keshia Renae Hutcherson, 23, Griffin, failure to stop for stop sign and other charges;Terry Wendell Dobbs, 44, Atlanta, serving time;Jason Davis Wilkerson, 25, Columbus, arrested for another agency;Keyon Lashawn Johnson, 28, McDonough, driving while license suspended or revoked, giving false name and information to police and headlight violation.Deputies answered 147 calls and the 911 center answered 113. Deputies responded to 38 calls, the Barnesville police department responded to 25, Lamar County firefighters to 62; Barnesville fire department to three and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 48. There were 14 accidents. Deputies served three warrants and issued 42 traffic citations.
