Sheriff’s Report

Between Monday, Oct. 10, and Thursday, Oct. 13, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Wendell Eric Anderson, 47, Macon, theft by taking, criminal trespass and criminal conspiracy;Walter Lee Collier, 36, Barnesville, child support;James Edward Banks III, 54, Barnesville, arrested for another agency;Marvin Warner, 51, Thomaston, child support;Lola Avery Reece, 50, Milner, theft by receiving stolen property.Deputies answered 113 calls and the 911 center answered 71 calls. Deputies responded to 12 calls, the Barnesville police department to 14, Lamar firefighters to 18, Barnesville fire department to one and Mid Georgia Ambulance to 44. There were eight accidents. Deputies served two warrants and issued nine traffic citations.
