Sheriff’s Report

Between Friday, Feb. 24, and Wednesday, March 2, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Thalmus Y. Hare, 33, Milner, driving while license suspended or revoked and headlight violation; Rictavious Antwon Giles, 19, Griffin, contempt of court and probation violation; David Charles Hackney, 27, Warner Robins, possession, sale, manufacture or purchase of amphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime or attempt to commit a crime; Jeronimo Ruben Lorenso Morales, 35, Warner Robins, weaving over roadway, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of amphetamine, theft by receiving and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime or attempt to commit a crime, and traffic misdemeanors; Matthew Steven Brooks, 25, Milner, arrested for another agency; Jimmy Carter Allen Jr., 41, Barnesville, kidnapping, family violence battery and parole violation; Michael Wayne Castle, 40, Milner, no seat belt and driving while license suspended or revoked; Jimmy Lewis Goodman Jr., 38, Griffin, probation violation. Deputies answered 101 calls and the 911 center answered 86. Deputies responded to 20 calls, the Barnesville police department to 17, Lamar County firefighters to 30, the Barnesville fire department to two and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 51. There were four accidents. Deputies served two state warrants and issued eight traffic citations.
