Sheriff’s report

Between Friday, March 2, and Thursday, March 8, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Anthony Dewayne Taylor, 31, Forsyth, theft by deception; Marcus Torrez Banks, 37, Barnesville, parole violation; James Alexander Geffre, 19, Bonaire, harassing phone calls; Thomas Edward Lenhart III, 28, Barnesville, first degree vehicular homicide, failure to stop, hit and run and leaving the scene of an accident and weaving over roadway; John Thomas Wright, 24, Marietta, probation violation; Michael Ray Thompson, 37, Mobile, Ala., driving while license suspended or revoked, improper license or tag and no tag, decal, expired or improper tag; Charles Leroy Jeffries III, 27, Milner, disorderly conduct; Roosevelt Raines, 47, Lizella, deposit account fraud; Tiffany Faith Etheridge, 31, Redburn, Tenn., possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine; John Barton Stoops, 44, Redburn Spring, Tenn., weaving over roadway, expired or no license on person and possession of a controlled substance; John Richard Westbrook, 49, Auburn, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and other charges; Joshua James Schoonover, 32, Flowery Branch, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Austin Eugene Thompson, 20, Griffin, criminal conspiracy; Lakievius Tawuan Eleby, 22, Barnesville, state sentence; Robert Leon Haralson, 42, Milner, two counts computer pornography; Antonio Alexander Harden, 47, Atlanta, DUI alcohol and weaving over roadway; Chancellor Savonta McIntyre, 36, Moultrie, weaving over roadway and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Anthony Maurice Simpson, 36, Moultrie, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Willie James McDowell, 42, Barnesville, two counts probation violation; Gloria O. Hilliary, 19, Clarkston, violation of limited permit and other charges; Steven Michael Shadrick, 25, child support; Bridgett Leann Barkley, 26, Griffin, child support. Deputies answered 159 calls and the 911 center answered 90. Deputies responded to 30 calls, the Barnesville police department to 19, Lamar County firefighters to 22, the Barnesville fire department to one and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 43. There were 13 accidents. Deputies served two state warrants and issued 31 traffic citations.
