Sheriff’s Report

Between Friday, April 27, and Thursday, May 3, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Shelandria Lawona Zellner, 25, Forsyth, serving time; Collins Watson Peaden Sr., 38, Griffin, driving while license suspended or revoked and giving false name or information to police; Gerald Lee Nelson, 49, Barnesville, disorderly conduct, restless conduct and obstruction of an officer; Courtney Nicole Jackson, 17, McDonough, simple battery; Ronald Joseph Brown, 55, Jackson, DUI alcohol, failure to maintain lane and open container; Willie Lewis Watkins, 41, Barnesville, probation violation; Derious Atwan Wilson, 28, Barnesville, probation violation; Melvin Loranzo Gilliam, 26, Tallahassee, Fla., windshield violation and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Johnny Lee Zellner, 59, Barnesville, probation violation; Bryan James Ard, 17, Milner, three counts statutory rape and three counts aggravated child molestation; Contrina Marsha Wilson, 32, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine, manufacture, sale or distribution of Schedule I and II drugs, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and use of communications facilities for drug transaction; Kalvin Bernard Collier, 39, possession of a drug related object and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Dessa Mae Moreland, 54, Barnesville, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine; Matthew Branden Hill, 27, bench warrant; Jatavious Ramon Kelley, 20, Griffin, probation violation; James Clarence Thomas, 31, Macon, probation violation; Jeffery Matthew Bunn, 41, Barnesville, arrested for another agency; Taymary Georgette Spires, 36, Forsyth, arrested for another agency. Deputies answered 154 calls and the 911 center answered 113. Deputies responded to 33 calls, the Barnesville police department to 37, Lamar County firefighters to 25, Barnesville fire department to five and Mid Georgia Ambulance to 44. There were 17 accidents. Deputies served one warrant and issued 20 citations.
