Sheriff’s Report

Between Friday, Aug. 17, and Friday, Aug. 24, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Richard Alan Green, 30, Hampton, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of methamphetamine; Jarrett Warez Dixon, 32, Roswell, probation violation; Deontez Sean Turnipseed, 23, Barnesville, serving time; Kelley Lynne Moore, 42, Flovilla, serving time; Andricus Damontae Rogers, 20, Barnesville, two counts probation violation; Andrew Franklin Abbott, 27, Barnesville, DUI alcohol; Andrew Kareen Byrd, 23, Barnesville, driving without a license; Cleveland Otavious Harden, 28, Barnesville, state sentence; Willie Elmon Hamm, 59, Barnesville, arrested for another agency; George Chris Danner, 43, Carrollton, Texas, arrested for another agency; Lori Beth Allman, 31, Martin, Tenn., windshield violation, first degree forgery, going inside guard lines with weapon, liquor or drugs, and trafficking in cocaine, marijuana and illegal drugs; Gregory Keith Parr, 55, Dyersburg, Tenn., first degree forgery; Geramie Gibson, 41, Martin, Tenn., first degree forgery; Edward Dean Saye, 42, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked and no seat belt; Edward Mark Jones, 56, Jackson, terroristic threats and acts; Danelle Currice Galban, 30, Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Russell Bernard Harden, 46, Griffin, serving time; Charles Edward Goddard, 27, Barnesville, probation violation; Joshua Matthew Watts, 19, Jackson, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Deputies answered 138 calls and the 911 center answered 96. Deputies responded to 21 calls, the Barnesville police department to 28, Lamar County firefighters to 15, Barnesville fire department to four and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 42. There were 14 accidents. Deputies served three warrants and issued 18 citations.
