Sheriff’s Report

Between Saturday, Sept. 22, and Saturday, Sept. 29, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Brian Jokevis Durham, 24, McDonough, probation violation; Tommy Kendrick Williams, 35, Panama City Beach, Fla., cruelty to children, battery, aggravated battery, obstructing or hindering a 911 call and aggravated stalking; Amanda Dawn Suddeth, 31, Barnesville, simple battery; Robert John Adams, 39, Griffin, public drunkenness; Rodney Jerome Howard, 46, McDonough, probation violation; Stephanie Nicole Bell, 26, Milner, three counts possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of methamphetamine, going inside guard line with weapons, liquor or drugs, drugs not in original container, possession of a drug related object, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act; Daniel Jay Foreman, 24, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., arrested for another agency; Jeffery Lane Abercrombie, 32, Forsyth, probation violation; British Jerome Wyke, 23, Barnesville, probation violation; Alfred Sentaill Chambliss, 32, Atlanta, arrested for another agency; Adam Edward Smith, 20, Thomaston, warrants pending, detained for investigation; David Joseph Maroney, 32, Barnesville, family violence simple battery and cruelty to children; Kevin Matthew Bourbon, 30, Forsyth, contempt of court; Elizabeth Anne Rogers, 36, Griffin, two counts theft by conversion of leased or rented personal property. Deputies answered 146 calls and the 911 center answered 116. Deputies responded to 31 calls, the Barnesville police department to 27, Lamar County firefighters to 28, the Barnesville fire department to one and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 52. There were nine accidents. Deputies served three warrants and issued six citations.
