Sheriff’s Report

Between Saturday, Oct. 27, and Friday, Nov. 2, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Timothy Jabar Nolton Sr., 29, Griffin, serving time; James Glen Carnes, 25, Locust Grove, serving time; Corey Allen Smith, 19, Griffin, serving time; Juan Carlos Villalobus-Cruz, 27, Griffin, serving time; James Rodney Palmer III, 35, Barnesville, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and criminal trespass; Mary Lyn Cagle, 48, Griffin, tampering with evidence; Barry Grady Williams, 34, Concord, bond violation; Dustin Wayne Gordy, 21, Musella, false imprisonment and simple battery; Charlie Mays, 45, Atlanta, pedestrian under the influence; Benetez Rayun Parker, 32, Milner, parole violation; Amanda Clarice Chapman, 37, Barnesville, affray; Raven Lee Hickox, 28, Milner, affray; Cicognac Octavius Rivers, 22, Madison, probation violation; Courtney Bernard Fish, 37, Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a drug-related object; Edwin Lamar Cameron, 50, Griffin, serving time. Deputies answered 125 calls and the 911 center answered 100. Deputies responded to 30 calls, the Barnesville police department responded to 22, Lamar County firefighters responded to 24, the Barnesville fire department to five and Mid Georgia Ambulance service to 52 calls. There were 19 accidents. Deputies served three warrants and 10 traffic citations.
