Sheriff’s Report

Between Friday, Nov. 16, and Thursday, Nov. 22, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Robert Steven Cochran, 26, Forsyth, serving time;David Lee Lunsford, 44, Barnesville, disorderly conduct;John Fransis Nahabedian, 22, Atlanta, reckless driving and headlight violation;Carla Denise Cobb, 47, Barnesville, first degree forgery and two counts theft by taking;Brenda Denise Vaughn, 45, Griffin, hold for Griffin;Timothy Paul Cagle, 50, Griffin, disorderly conduct.Deputies answered 108 calls and the 911 center answered 94. Deputies responded to 28 calls, the Barnesville police department to 23, Lamar County firefighters to 20 and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 46. There were seven accidents. Deputies issued eight citations.
