Between Friday, July 17, and Thursday, July 23, the sheriff’s office made 13 arrests:Kenneth Allen Slaughter, 33, Forsyth, leaving the scene of an accident and weaving over the roadway;Janie Lee Adams, 30, Barnesville, arrested for Spalding County;Timothy Joseph Regan, 37, Barnesville, theft by taking;Glen A. Jackson Jr., 30, Carrollton, possession of marijuana and giving false name to police;Sharon Irene Parker, 58, Flovilla, probation violation;Teresa Juannetta Boggs, 46, Barnesville, entering an auto and criminal damage to property;Antonio Castro Leyto, 55, Barnesville, failure to stop for stop sign, weaving over the roadway and driving without a license;Dereke Earle Watkins, 44, Hampton, theft by taking;Jessica Faye Mayes, 25, Griffin, theft by taking;Dedra Faye McDaniel, 42, no residence given, terroristic threats;William Donald Rose, 48, Barnesville, arrested for Upson County;Corey Antonio Delay, 31, Kissimme, Fla., probation violation;Larry Williams, 35, Forsyth, driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain lane. Deputies answered 132 calls, responded to eight traffic accidents, served 10 warrants and nine civil papers and/or subpoenas and issued 100 citations. Lamar County E-911 received 77 emergency calls, dispatching sheriff’s deputies to 22, Barnesville police to 22, county fire and rescue to 22, city fire to eight and EMS to 43.
