In the past week, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Dexter Lamar Reviere Jr., 20, Thomaston, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Davarris Marques Morgan, 20, Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Avery Cortez Morgan, 20, Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Monique Alexandria Bolton, 20, Elberton, failure of duty to stop at the scene, hit and run and leaving the scene of an accident; Tamra Louise Vaughn, 35, Macon, drugs not in original container; Kevin Dewayne Rapes, 36, McDonough, reckless driving, speeding, driving while license suspended or revoked and fleeing or attempting to elude an officer; Jerez Latuan Watkins, 24, Barnesville, probation violation; Charlie Henry Brown, 50, Atlanta, parole violation; Jason Anthony Smith, 33, Barnesville, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of marijuana, possession of drug related objects and possession with intent to distribute; Casey Lashay Carter, 32, Barnesville, contempt of court; Christopher Allen Harrison, 41, Barnesville, arrested for another agency; Joshua Alan Walker, 23, Barnesville, no insurance and violation of limited driving permit conditions; Quantez Demilo Brown, 24, Forsyth, burglary, family violence battery, aggravated battery, cruelty to children and theft by taking; Stephanie Lynn Thornton, 32, McDonough, driving while license suspended or revoked; Amy Nicole Ritch, 32, Forsyth, cruelty to children and family violence battery; Roger Cameron Shannon, 41, Barnesville, serving time; Jason Dwain Messer, 36, Griffin, DUI alcohol, failure to maintain lane and other charges; Andrew Bloodser III, 25, Barnesville, warrants pending; Demarcus Bernard Jenkins, 21, Barnesville, contempt of court; James David Teal, 39, Barnesville, probation violation; Robert Charles Darnell, 37, Barnesville, public drunkenness; Terrell Harden, 37, Barnesville, serving time; Bo Dean Drafton, 28, Barnesville, obstruction of an officer, obstructing or hindering an emergency call and family violence simple battery; David Watts Sr., 48, Barnesville, speeding and driving while license suspended or revoked; Victoria Selean Evans, 46, Barnesville, furnishing or sale of alcoholic beverage to underaged; James Gregory Braswell, 49, Culloden, theft by taking. Deputies answered 189 calls and the 911 center answered 85. Deputies responded to 24 calls, the Barnesville police department responded to 21, Lamar County firefighters to 12, Barnesville fire department to two and Mid Georgia Ambulance to 51. There were 12 accidents. Deputies served 11 warrants and issued 21 traffic citations.
