Sheriff’s report

Between Friday, July 24, and Thursday, July 30, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made 17 arrests: Rosalyn Smith Rutherford, 38, Barnesville, two counts deposit account fraud; Charles Bernard Williams IV, 28, Griffin, probation violation; Angel Alaai, 29, Fayetteville, DUI, open container and driving without a license. Michael Lawrence Fluellyn, 42, Barnesville, for Griffin police department; Carl Routhier, 63, Shasta Lake City, Calif., probation violation; Joe Charles Bostwick Jr., 40, Milner, terroristic threats; Darnell Demarizo Caslin, 23, Macon, possession of marijuana; Richard Rafael Mathis, 26, Barnesville, possession of marijuana; Jonathan Dwayne Wilson, 22, Barnesville, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime; Eric Shonte Hamm, 30, Barnesville, child support default; Leonard Collier, 44, Barnesville, three counts child support default; Michael Jerode Dunham, 30, Griffin, driving without license and no seat belt; Jeremy Walter Andrews, 22, Tucker, possession of marijuana, weaving over roadway and driving with a suspended license; Charles Travis, 40, Jackson, theft by taking and entering an auto; Marichael Byran Clark, 37, De Soto, probation violation; Richard Wayne Ward, 44, Macon, DUI, driving with a suspended license, obstruction of an officer, weaving over the roadway, fleeing/attempting to elude and safety restraint violation; William Henry Lovelady, 21, Griffin, probation violation. Deputies answered 164 calls, responded to 21 traffic accidents, served 16 warrants and 25 civil papers and/or subpoenas and issued 96 citations. Lamar County E-911 received 60 emergency calls, dispatching deputies to 15, Barnesville police to 19, county fire and rescue to 28, city fire to eight and EMS to 36.
