Sheriff’s Report

Between Friday, March 29, and Friday, April 5, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Rodney Dontaie Akins, 27, Barnesville, DUI alcohol, failure to maintain lane and other charges; Jonathan Glenntavious Harden, 19, Barnesville, consumption, purchase, furnishing or sale of alcoholic beverage under age; Rebecca Darlene Waldroup, 40, Milner, criminal trespass; Porcha Nicole Hammond, 23, no residence given, driving while license suspended or revoked, giving false name or information to police and failure to stop for stop sign; Aaron Scott Keough, 30, Forsyth, arrested for another agency; Billy Larry Barton, 47, no residence given, bench warrant; Rachael Deanna Blackwell, 19, Meansville, obstruction of an officer, disorderly conduct, and consumption, purchase, furnishing or sale of alcohol under age; Alan Rodrick Compton, 46, Barnesville, serving time; Jacob Ethan Thomas, 24, no residence given, serving time; Christopher James Fallon, 20, no residence given, serving time; Jeremy Wayne Bell, 30, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked, giving false name or information to police officer and other charges; Douglas Ray Smith, 49, Milner, driving without a license, open container, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, DUI alcohol, DUI endangering a child and other charges; Bryan Antwaine Wyke, 22, Barnesville, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana and possession of a drug related object; Charles David Nipper, 45, Barnesville, probation violation. Deputies answered 108 calls and the 911 center answered 95. Deputies responded to 17 calls, the Barnesville police department to 39, Lamar firefighters to 23, the Barnesville fire department to two and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 47. There were 20 accidents. Deputies served three warrants and issued 27 citations.
