Sheriff’s Report

Between Saturday, June 21, and Thursday, June 27, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Beverly Yvonne Williams, 66, Griffin, DUI alcohol and weaving over roadway;Schivonne Quaton Gaines, 25, Barnesville, cruelty to children and battery;Corey Lavelle Gray, 41, Macon, driving while license suspended or revoked and speeding;Christopher David Smith, 38, Barnesville, battery;Krystal Gail Street, 29, Savannah, following too closely and theft by receiving stolen property;Traumayne Jones, 40, Savannah, theft by receiving;Richard Dale Dodd, 29, Trussville, Ala., failure to appear;Karen Michelle Payne, 49, Griffin, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of methamphetamine;Brandon Jamal Wyche, 20, Barnesville, arrested for another agency;Linda Jessica Gunn, 19, Milner, cruelty to animals;Stephanie Nicole Bell, 27, Milner, state sentence;Harley Bryan Hubbard, 31, Stockton, arrested for another agency.Deputies answered 222 calls and the 911 center answered 118. Deputies responded to 30 calls, the Barnesville police department to 33, Lamar County firefighters to 21, Barnesville fire department to four and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 57. There were 12 accidents. Deputies served six warrants and issued 13 traffic citations.
