Sheriff’s Report

Between Friday, July 26, and Thursday, Aug. 1, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Jason Clifford Ford, 40, Griffin, aggravated assault;Austin Jason Patrick Anderson, 20, Forsyth, serving time;Pamela Denise May, 49, Barnesville, serving time;Jennifer Jeannine Pevey, 31, Thomasville, theft by conversion of leased or rented property;Quentin Myles Foster, 24, Barnesville, child support;Keven Bernard Jenkins, 41, Griffin, probation violation;Marvin Terel Howell, 56, Griffin, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession, sale, manufacture or purchase of marijuana;Jerry Marvin Howell, 36, Griffin, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana and possession of a drug related object;Damon Lee Nellor, 17, Griffin, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana and possession of a drug related object;Alicia Lynn Howell, 30, Griffin, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana and possession of a drug related object;Quentin Antwon Cowan, 30, Barnesville, arrested for another agency;Amanda Marie Chaney, 28, Jackson, serving time;Regina Marie Longmire, 46, Locust Grove, serving time;Richard Cody Peacock, 22, Barnesville, fleeing or attempting to elude officer, reckless driving, no registration and other charges;Benjamin Caleb Anthony, 22, Meansville, probation violation.Deputies answered 124 calls and the 911 center answered 83. Deputies responded to 28 calls, the Barnesville police department to 27, Lamar County firefighters to 17, Barnesville fire department to 17 and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 47. There were five accidents. Deputies served two warrants and issued eight citations.
