Between Friday, Aug. 2, and Thursday, Aug. 8, the sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Danielle Lynn Brooks, 41, Jackson, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Tavarus Demondra Beck, 37, Griffin, serving time;John Anthony Young, 42, Griffin, serving time;Curtez Litrent Clark, 27, Griffin, serving time;Timothy Allen Curtis, 28, Griffin, serving time;Michael Joseph Dills, 69, Griffin, serving time;Adrian Armond Wyche, 25, Culloden, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Rodney Eugene Few, 39, Barnesville, deposit account fraud;Alonzo Terrell Bivins, 32, Thomaston, DUI alcohol, open container and other charges;Michael Jack LaPort, 36, Alto, arrested for another agency;Stephanie Tonya Hill, 34, Barnesville, false report of a crime and other charges;Christopher Shon York, 36, no residence given, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of methamphetamine, and three counts manufacture, sale or distribution of Schedule I and II drugs;Jennrice Quartil McDowell Sr., 37, Meansville, arrested for another agency;Benny C. Paige Jr., 39, Griffin, child support;Kelvin Demestis Roussaw, 38, Barnesville, three counts child support;Teresa Cyrille Rodda, 50, Barnesville, simple battery;Leanna Nicole Phillips, 23, Griffin, reckless conduct of an HIV infected person;Shane Douglas Spino, 22, no residence given, arrested for another agency;Joshua Alan Walker, 23, Barnesville, serving time;Garrett Anthony Hinshaw, 30, Jackson, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission or attempt to commit a crime and use of communication facilities for drug transaction;Brandon Lee Carter, 39, Milner, arrested for another agency;Kenneth Wayne Brown, 47, Barnesville, warrants pending and possession of meth;Douglas Wade Gravette, 23, Leeds, Ala., warrants pending;Rodney Neil Eppinger, 37, Barnesville, child support.Deputies answered 160 calls and the 911 center answered 86. Deputies responded to 24 calls, the Barnesville police department to 22, Lamar firefighters to 30, Barnesville fire department to five and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 54. There were five accidents. Deputies served five warrants and issued 23 citations.
