Between Friday, Aug. 14, and Thursday, Aug. 20, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made 28 arrests: Thaddeus Lavette Bonds, 27, Macon, DUI, open container, following too close and weaving over roadway. Stephine Jeanne Dial, 26, Jackson, contempt of superior court; Michael Gene Slegl, 24, Barnesville, DUI, failure to stop for stop sign and open container; Carnell Lemar Furlow, 28, Barnesville, possession of marijuana; Toni Michelle Mayer, 31, Culloden, weaving over roadway, drugs in original container, possession of marijuana and felony VGCSA; Kellie Reneé Walker, 38, Barnesville, arrested for Spalding County; Dennis Eugene Dukes Sr., 45, Griffin, violation of state probation; Edwin Hurtado Santos, 20, Norcross, open container and possession of alcohol underage; Alonso Jose Martinez, 20, Norcross, open container and possession of alcohol underage; Carlos Remigio Jr., 17 Norcross, open container and possession of alcohol underage; Edgar Osorio, 17, Norcross, open container and possession of alcohol underage; Gavin Steven Cosby, 24, Covington, child support default; David Alan Wiedrick, 48, Macon, failure to appear; Edmond Jermaine Harris, 26, Barnesville, simple battery, obstructing or hindering an emergency call and two counts of cruelty to children; Constance Montina Colquitt, 39, Griffin, suspended license and speeding; Christopher Scott Trivette, 29, Milner, fleeing or attempting to elude, criminal trespass and speeding; Wilber West, 52, Milner, superior court bench warrant; Billy George Dunn, 50, Barnesville, deposit account fraud; Cornelius D. Walker, 22, Barnesville, probation violation and failure to appear in city court; Zachri Jones, 25, Eastman, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and failure to maintain lane; Robert William Lewis, 25, Eastman, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; Clint Jason Bright, 26, Barnesville, battery, simple battery and cruelty to children; Robert Brian Payton, 37, Largo, Fla., speeding; John Winford Jones, 49, Milner, terroristic threats and acts; Kelly Jo Jackson, 34, Barnesville, probation violation and VGCSA; William Clayton Boggs, 38, Barnesville, tampering with evidence and VGCSA; Kadarius Jabreel Reid, 19, Griffin, possession of marijuana and weaving over roadway; Bernard Lawrence Brown, 45, Barnesville, parole violation.  Deputies answered 113 complaints, responded to 10 traffic accidents, served 28 warrants and 41 civil papers and/or subpoenas and issued 82 citations.  Lamar County E-911 received 71 emergency calls, dispatching deputies to 23, Barnesville police to 18, county fire and rescue to 22, Barnesville fire to eight and EMS to 40.
