Between Friday, Aug. 23, and Thursday, Aug. 29, the sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Demetris Towns, 34, no residence given, driving while license suspended or revoked;Eric Shonte Hamm, 34, Barnesville, failure to maintain lane, DUI less safe and open container;Generra Renee Bell, 24, no residence given, giving false name or information to police;Timothy Wayne Cherrior, 34, Milner, bench warrant;Jamerio Deshawn Curry, 20, Union City, probation violation;Alante Martez Miller, 19, Griffin, probation violation;Joshua Paul Crowe, 20, Barnesville, terroristic threats and acts;Chancellor Laboy Reese, 25. Milledgeville, probation violation;Reginald Cordell Sims, 26. Jenkinsburg, arrested for another agency;Derrick James Moody, 27, Jackson, criminal trespass;Akia Dejuan Whatley, 17, Barnesville, disrupting a public school and other charges;Martez Thomas, 21, Atlanta, arrested for another agency;James Barnes, 63, Milner, simple assault;Joe Charles Bostwick II, 44, Barnesville, warrants pending;James Zachary Melton, 20, Thomaston, warrants pending;Gregory Deon Londy, 27, Macon, probation violation;Clifford Dyal, 32, Griffin, warrants pending;Kardarius Deshun Jester, 23, Griffin, serving time;Marcus Lee Taylor, 27, Griffin, contempt of court.Deputies answered 193 calls and the 911 center answered 100. Deputies responded to 32 calls, the Barnesville police department to 24, Lamar firefighters to 26, the Barnesville fire department to four and Mid-Georgia Ambulance Service to 53. There were seven accidents. Deputies served nine warrants and issued 26 citations.
