Between Friday, Aug. 30, and Thursday, Sept. 5, the sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Michael Ottis Chamblee, 55, Milner, driving without a license; Judy Elaine Conner, 52, Milner, cruelty to animals; Joshua Alexander Presnell, 31, Milner, DUI alcohol; John Anthony Young, 42, Griffin, serving time; Terence Raoul Rouse, 23, Fort Valley, probation violation; Larry Lee Berry, 44, Yatesville, two counts deposit account fraud; Thomas John Odom, 23, Barnesville, child support; Cornelius Ornez Wilkerson, 39, Fayetteville, arrested for another agency; Joshua Lee Beavers, 32, Eatonton, arrested for another agency; David Marlin Fowler, 50, Rome, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of methamphetamine; Preston Lemuel Young, 23, Lithonia, probation violation; Anthony Quentin Evans, 34, Ellenwood, computer exploitation of a child and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Sherry Manning, 40, Forsyth, serving time; Valerie Paulette Cunningham, 34, Barnesville, simple battery; Jeffrey Lynn Moncrief, 23, Yatesville, serving time. Deputies answered 121 calls and the 911 center answered 97. Deputies responded to 31 calls, the Barnesville police department to 29, Lamar County firefighters to 16, Barnesville fire department to two and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 41. There were 18 accidents. Deputies served 24 warrants and issued 27 citations.
