Sheriff’s Report

Between Friday, Sept. 6, and Thursday, Sept. 12, the sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Sammie Lee Furlow Jr., 25, Barnesville, probation violation;Travis Leroy Ball, 46, no residence given, bench warrant;Kendrick Demond Dumas, 39, no residence given, arrested for another agency;Shannon Dean, 47, Milner, probation violation and bench warrant;Kerrie Lynn Goodman, 38, Barnesville, battery;Dallas Edward Davis Jr., 53, Barnesville, open container, obstruction of an officer and public drunkenness;Daniel R. Williams II, 30, Barnesville, public drunkenness;Clayton L. Finn III, 30, Glen Ellyn, Ill., public drunkenness and disorderly conduct;Kardarius Deshun Jester, 23, Griffin, serving time;Geraldine Foster, 67, Barnesville, two counts possession of a controlled substance;Johnathan Maurice Boyd, 28, Barnesville, two counts possession of a controlled substance;Amos Denos Williams III, 53, no residence given, probation violation;Jerry Glynn Nelson, 48, Thomaston, probation violation;Johnny Dwayne Flournoy, 23, Barnesville, simple battery.Deputies answered 152 calls and the 911 center answered 85. Deputies responded to 25 calls, the Barnesville police department to 24, Lamar firefighters to 26, Barnesville fire department to two and Mid-Georgia Ambulance Service to 43. There were six accidents. Deputies served four warrants and issued 18 citations.
