Between Friday, Sept. 18, and Thursday, Sept. 24, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made 12 arrests:Kelvin Deon Blackmon, 34, Barnesville, possession of marijuana;Brandy Dawn Bostwick, 27, Barnesville, aggravated assault and criminal trespass;Wayne Everette McCollum, 23, Milner, failure to register as a sex offender;Rosa Lopez, 18, Griffin, possession of alcohol underage;Rickey M. Shannon, 27, Carrollton, disorderly conduct;Melvin David Barnes, 47, Barnesville, driving with a suspended license;Justin Lee Fallin, 20, Milner, possession of marijuana;Brandy Nicole Fallin, 20, Milner, possession of marijuana;Christopher Eugene Hunter Jr., 24, Barnesville, carrying a concealed weapon;Jeremiah Shamall Sullivan, 21, Barnesville, driving with a suspended license and failure to stop for stop sign;Quita Retina Watts, 33, Griffin, three counts deposit account fraud;Allison LeeAnn Cook, 29, Griffin, theft by taking and false report of a crime. Deputies answered complaints, responded to 12 traffic accidents, served eight warrants and/or 14 civil papers and issued 49 citations. Lamar County E-911 received 72 emergency calls, dispatching county deputies to 12, Barnesville police to eight, county fire and rescue to 12 and city fire to three.
