Lamar County sheriff’s deputies answered 126 calls for service. The 911 center answered 104 calls, deputies responded to 27 of the calls, Barnesville Police officers responded to 30 calls, Lamar County firefighters responded to 24 of the calls, Barnesville firefighters responded to two of the calls and Mid-Georgia Ambulance Service responded to 67 calls. There were eight accidents, deputies served 15 state warrants and deputies issued 19 traffic citations.
