Lamar County sheriff’s deputies answered 130 calls for service. The 911 center answered 63 calls, deputies responded to 18 of the calls, Barnesville Police officers responded to nine calls, Lamar County firefighters responded to 22 of the calls, Barnesville firefighters responded to five of the calls and Mid-Georgia Ambulance Service responded to 59 calls. There were four accidents, deputies executed 17 state warrants and deputies issued 31 traffic citations.
